About me, my work, and my interests
Florian Gilles holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences Trier, Germany. In 2007, he conducted undergraduate studies at Clemson University, a public, coeducational, land-grant, research university located in Clemson, South Carolina, United States. Clemson University is ranked 22th as a national public university by U.S.News & World Report and currently enrolls more than 17,000 students from across all 50 states and 89 countries.
During his studies from 2008 to 2009 Florian worked at SAP Research in St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he was part of an EU funded research project called "FAST" and of an internal research project called SAP Research Rooftop Marketplace. Both projects deal with Enterprise Mashups and aim to support users with no programming skills to create as well as adapt ad-hoc enterprise-class applications.
At present Florian is working on his master degree on Computer Science.
